Age limit, nationality, academic qualification, residential status as well as other elements are included in the JKPSC eligibility criteria.
- Education Qualification: As per JKPSC Board, a candidate must possess at minimum a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit for the exam is 32 years. In other words, candidate should be born on 01 January 1990 or after that tin order to be eligible to apply for JKPSC CCE examination.
In case of reserved category candidate, there is relaxation in the upper age limit criteria . The age limit as notified by the JKPSC board in case of reserved candidates is 34 years. This means that candidate must have been born on January 1, 1988 or later.
For the physically handicapped candidate, the upper age limit is 35 years. This is 3 years higher than general category candidate.
Physical Eligibility Parameters: In case of a male candidate, he must be having a height of at least 165 centimeters. For female candidates, minimum height should be 150 cm. Also, the chest measurement should be minimum 84 cm for male candidates and 79 cm for female candidates.
