Andhra Pradesh YSR Navasakam portal is unified portal developed to know and apply for the Social Welfare Schemes run by the Andhara Pradesh Government digitally. Purpose of YSR Navasakam Portal
The primary motive of starting the YSR Navasakam Portal is to make the State Schemes available to every citizen of the Andhra Pradesh. The State initiates a number of Scheme, however, due to the formalities involved in availing the scheme, every citizen doesn’t get benefit of it. YSR Cheyutha Scheme – YSR Navasakam portal
YSR Cheyutha Scheme is for improving the contribution of women in the Andhra Pradesh economy. The Scheme is initiated by the CM of State to provide financial help to women with which they can generate their own source of income. The Scheme is included in the YSR Navasakam portal. Govt dedicates this scheme to the women who are from the minority communities or category women i.e SC, ST or OBC. The women can get a total amount of Rs.75,000 in total period of 4 years. Thus, women get an amount of Rs.18,750/- each year till 4 yrs to the eligible women. The Scheme is State Sponsored Scheme to encourage the cattle related activities in the State. An estimated budget of Rs.17 crore has been declared to be spent on this Scheme
Eligibility Criteria:
- Scheme is for women only
- Women should be in the age group of 45-60 years
- Women should be from minority communities/SC/ST/OBC
- The money can be used for doing cattle farming business.
YSR Pension Kanuka Card – YSR Navasakam portal
This Scheme under YSR Navasakam is to provide Social Security benefit in the form of pension to the citizens
- In this, the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh offers pension Kanuka cards to the citizens
- The Scheme is for the Senior Citizens of State i.e. those above 60 years of age, single women, physically challenged, transgenders, cobblers, fisherpersons, Antiretroviral therapy (ART) patient or Chronic Kidney Disease of Unknown etiology (CKDU patient)
- People living in families where the family income is lower than Rs.10,000 per month in rural Andhra Pradesh and Rs.12,000/- in urban area of Andhra Pradesh
- In terms of land, persons whose land owning is lower than 3 acres of wet land or 10 acres of dry land or 10 acres combined of wet and dry land
- In terms of electricity consumption, the electricity utility should be lower than 300 units
- A family where no one is a Government Servant or pensioner
- The Sanitary workers are eligible even if they are Govt. Servant
- Family should not own a 4 wheeler vehicle (but can have a taxi, auto or tractor)
- Family who doesn’t fall under the tax paying category
- For urban people, one who doesn’t own any property or the property ownership is lower than 750 sft of built up area
YSR Arogyasri Card – YSR Navasakam portal
Under this, the Government of Andhra Pradesh provides health treatments to the citizens of States in certain listed hospitals at zero cost. They can also claim health insurance benefits. The Scheme under YSR Navasakam is for the Below Poverty Line families as per the ration card records of the State. The diseases covered are serious diseases and medical emergency cases.
YSR Kapu Nestham – YSR Navasakam portal
This scheme is to financially strengthen the women by providing monetary assistance to them. Govt. gives an amount of Rs.15,000/- each year to the women for a total of 5 years. Thus, women get a total amount of Rs.75,000/- . The Scheme of YSR Navasakam works on improving the standard of living of the women belonging to Kapu, Ontari, Baljia, Telaga communities. This help is to generate sources of livelihood for the women of these communities
Eligibility Criteria:
- Only woman can be a beneficiary under the Scheme
- Should lie in the age group of 45-60 years
- She must be from the Kapu, Balija, Ontari or Telaga communities
Jagananna Amma Vodi – YSR Navasakam portal
Jagananna Amma Vodi is a leading Scheme launched by the Government of Andhra Pradesh covered under YSR Navasakam
- The Scheme is launched under Navaratnalu.
- It aims to provide monetary help to the mothers/ identified female guardian who are in the Below Poverty Line section of State.
- The Scheme is not caste, creed, category specific.
- The primary objective is to help the mother in managing the financial expenditure on the School education of her child/children
YSR Sunna Vaddi Scheme – YSR Navasakam portal
In this scheme, the government proposes to help ladies who have taken advance amount to start business of their own. The Government of Andhra Pradesh helps the borrowers by paying interest amount on the outstanding loan amount taken from the Self Help Groups. The prime objective of including it under YSR Navasakam is to help the deserving citizens so that they start their own source of livelihood. By paying interest amount, the Govt shares the financial burden on these budding business persons.
YSR Nethanna Nestham – YSR Navasakam portal
This Scheme launched by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sh. Jagan Mohan Reddy is also to offer financial help. Under this, Govt. offers monetary help to weavers who have a family culture of handloom work. The traditional weavers get an amount of Rs.24,000/- in an year that they can invest in acquiring modernized weaving equipment. The Scheme under YSR Navasakam aims to uplift the power loom sector of the State. The Department of handlooms and Textiles is the designated authority to monitor the implementation of this scheme.
Eligibility Criteria:-
- The beneficiary has to be from BPL category as per ration card records with the Govt.
- The benefit is restricted for one handloom only.
Jagananna Vidya Deevena(RTF)
In this program of YSR Navasakam, the Government of Andhra Pradesh issues Vidya Deevena Card to the Students and reimburses complete fee to the students. The students have to enroll themselves for studying in Polytechnics and Industrial Training Institutes (ITI). The course should be a Degree and higher level programs from Government or Government aided colleges.
Jagananna Vasathi Deevena(MTF)
In this program of YSR Navasakam, the Government of Andhra Pradesh issues Vasathi Deevena card to the students of Polytechnics and Industrial Training Institutes. Government provides financial help of Rs.20,000/- a year to meet the food and hostel expenses. Students have to enroll themselves for studying a Degree level course or higher courses in the institutes notified by Govt.
YSR Vahan Mitra – YSR Navasakam portal
The Scheme aims to help the auto and taxi drivers of the Andhra Pradesh. Under this Scheme in YSR Navasakam, the auto and taxi drivers who fulfill the beneficiary criteria as per the Government get monetary assistance of Rs.10,000/- per year. The motive is to enable the beneficiaries to bear the expenses of maintaining the vehicle and other fees like insurance premium of vehicle, license renewal fees etc.
Rice Card – YSR Navasakam portal
Rice Card is started by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. In this, Government identifies the beneficiaries who are eligible for Rice Cards. The Eligibility criteria for issuing Rice cards to the beneficiaries is as follows:
- The beneficiary has to be resident citizen of Andhra Pradesh
- The monthly family income as per YSR Navasakam should not be more than:
- Rs.10,000/- (beneficiaries of rural areas)
- Rs.12,000/- (beneficiaries of urban areas)
- In terms of Land holding:
- Wetland: should be owing land of less than 3 acres
- Dry land: should be owning land of less than 10 acres
- A total of not more than 10 acres of both wet and dry land
- Family consumption of electricity should be less than 300 units of a month
- There should not be any Govt Servant in family (no Govt. pensioner)
- Family should not be possessing four-wheeler vehicle (taxi, auto, tractor allowed)
- No member in the family should fall in the tax paying category
- For beneficiary from urban areas, family should not be holding property greater than 750 sq. feet
Honorarium to Imams, Muazams, Pastors and increase in salaries to Archakas
In this Scheme given in YSR Navasakam, the Government has laid criteria to identify the Pastors, Muazzins, Imams and Archakas. The Government offers honorarium to these identified beneficiaries. The Scheme is to enhance the salaries of Archakas. The authorities conducts verification to identify the deserving beneficiaries for offering allowance.
Financial Assistance to Nayee Brahmins, Rajakas and Tailors
This Scheme of YSR Navasakam focuses on the Nayee Brahmins, Rajakas and Tailors. Under this scheme of YSR Navasakam, the eligible Nayee Brahmins, Rajakas and Tailors get financial help of Rs.10,000/- in a year.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The beneficiary has to be from Backward Class Community
- The person is in Below Poverty Line Category and has a white ration card in their name as per the Government records
- The beneficiary should have a registered shop/ establishment in their name
- Nayee Brahmins should be in the occupation of a Barber
- Rajakas should be in the occupation of Dhobis.
AP Adarana 2 Scheme – YSR Navasakam portal
The Scheme of YSR Navasakam portal aims to modernize the work of craftsmen of Andhra Pradesh. The Craftsmen get motivation in the form of sponsorships to them for their work. The Government proposes to give 70% sponsorship to those craftsmen who display modernized craft work. The vision is to encourage the level of creativity of the craftsmen by using modernized techniques.

Procedure Followed for Identifying beneficiaries
Preparatory Arrangements
- The Departments monitoring the Schemes distribute the pre-populated survey forms among the volunteers through District Collectors of the respective area
- In case of non-availability of pre-populated formats, the officers at District Level distributes the survey forms to volunteers
- The guidelines are provided regarding the eligibility criteria and procedure followed for identifcation of beneficiaries is formulated
- The District level authorities recognizes the Mandal/ Urban Local Bodies for imparting training to them
- Training of Mandals/ Urban Local Bodies who give further training to volunteers
- Municipal level authority makes suitable arrangements for saving and arrangement of data received
Training to Volunteers
- District Collectors give a single day training to the Mandal/ Urban Level bodies by explaining the guidelines of identifying beneficiaries
- Municipal level Authorities give training to the Village level and other volunteers through the trained Mandal/ Urban Level bodies
- Arrangements like survey formats, pre-populated formats etc are given to the volunteers during their training.
- District Level officers are assigned the duty to check the training work in process
- The District Level Officers further appointment supervisors to monitor the progress of work in each village
- Thus, All the District Level Officers, Mandal/ Urban Level Bodies, supervisory teams, volunteers get training for performing their duties
Conducting of House Hold survey
- Volunteers prepare a schedule for conducting surveys in the households of their area.
- Prior notice to households to be present for survey that day
- One volunteer each day covers an average of five(5) households in rural areas and maximum 10 (ten ) households in urban areas.
- The survey involves giving door step service to the households.
- Pre-populated forms are already with the volunteers
- Volunteers first explain the Social welfare scheme of the State to the households
- Thereafter, checking is done to verify the eligibility of the eligible beneficiaries
- The pre-populated proforma or survey proforma are time to time provided to the volunteers by the Village / Ward secretariat authorities
- These Village/ Ward Secretariat persons also collect the information or data collected by the volunteers and submit it to the Mandal Parishad Development Officers or Municipal Corporations
- The Mandal Parishad Development Officers or Municipal Corporations take care that sufficient arrangements are available to conduct the survey smoothly
- The comparison of data collected with the Government records to confirm that no household is left without survey
- The survey data is submitted to the Village / Ward Secretariat functionaries on daily basis.
- No survey is done for certain schemes like YSR SunnaVaddi, YSR NethannaNestham and Honororium to Imams, Muazzins, Pastors and Archakas. For this, the data available with the Departments is considered confirmed
Computerization of field data
- The data of ineligible households as per the information in the pre-populated data is entered in the computerized format as required by the Administration
- Those who are not eligible are double verified so that none of the deserving household is left out
- Now, on confirmation the data of all the eligible and in-eligible cases is informed to the Village / Ward Secretariat.
- Computerization of data for Cases where pre-populated data is not with the volunteers
- AP Centre for Financial Systems & Services gives the necessary facilities for data recording
- Mandal Parishad Development Officers or Municipal Corporations are the entities who responsibly confirm about the careful computerization of data
- Hence, entire computerization work is done in the supervision of Mandal Parishad Development Officers or Municipal Corporations
Draft-eligible members lists for Social Audit
- The list of eligible members for YSR Navasakam which is generated for each scheme is published in the Village / Ward secretariats.
- No more than 3 days after the publishing of results is given to raise objections in case of any mistake or issues.
- Corrections if any on the basis of objections is done and final lists are given in the GramaSabha / Ward Sabha.
Grama Sabha / Ward Sabha for Social Audit
- The eligible members are finalized in the Grama/Ward Sabha that are held in the Village/ Ward Secretariats
- The beneficiaries finalized and the guidelines followed for identifying the beneficiaries is presented for Social Audit
- The eligibility criteria for each scheme and the procedure followed for identification of beneficiaries is also made available clearly for Audit
Forgot Password of YSR Navasakam portal
There may be a case where you forgot your password. In order to recover the password in YSR Navasakam website, you need to follow these steps:
- Visit the official website navasakam.ap.gov.in
- On the homepage of website, in the top menu bar, there is option login
- Click on login
- There is option forgot password. Click on it
- Now, enter User id and choose the option to Send OTP
- Mention the OTP received in the column on screen, set the new password & confirm this new password by re-entering it in the space given
- Now, type the captcha and choose the option ‘reset password’
- Your password of YSR Navasakam is changed
- Now login with your User ID and new password on YSR Navasakam
What if Mobile Number doesn’t Match
Sometimes on login, you receive a notification that your mobile number does not match. This can be because of the following:
- If you are entering mobile number that is different from the one with which you registered on this portal
- It may also be because your Mobile Number is not Mapped with your User Id
- In such a case, ask your Mandal Parishad Development Officer to do the needful and re-map your mobile number
- Once your mobile number is updated as per your request, you will not receive this message.
